Summer Camp at North Seattle Boys & Girls Club

Join us for a fun-filled summer at the Club! During the summer, the Club’s highly-trained staff provide a variety of fun learning activities, field trips, and supervised games to keep members engaged and active throughout the season. Field trips are offered 2-3 times per week and camp participants will participate in all field trips corresponding to their grade. Because we serve a variety of ages, staff make every effort to plan a wide array of age-appropriate field trips. The summer field trip and activity schedules are subject to change but are always fun. On non-field trip days, members will participate in a variety of gym games, outdoor activities, arts & crafts, and high-yield learning activities. Each week is different, so check with the Club about specific schedules and days if you have questions. Come spend the summer with us! Register online at https://positiveplace.org/summer/.

FREE Healthy Home Assessments from American Lung Association

Is the air you’re breathing safe? Indoor air can be 2-5 times more polluted than outdoor air. Learn how to identify and fix common things in your home that contribute to poor indoor air quality through a free visit from the American Lung Association. While there is no testing or cleaning, they are able to give you recommendations on what you can do to maintain a healthy home environment. For households who have a child with asthma, you may be eligible to receive either a vacuum, dehumidifier, or air purifier to further improve the air quality in your home. For more information contact AmeriCorps member Xamantha Curameng.
